We are pleased to inform that Ngelakar Seni 2025 Zon Selatan organized by Majlis Seni Sarawak (MSS) will be held as follows:

Venue: Dewan Centexs, Lundu
Date: 23 August 2025
Time: From 7.30 a.m. onwards

This program gathers art practitioners, school students, and the general public to discuss the role of arts in strengthening cultural identity and preserving Sarawak’s heritage.

The session will be moderated by an experienced moderator with invited panelists:

• Zamhari Bin Mostapa (Folk song advocate)

• London Anak Tasin (Representative of the Selako community)

• Sharkawi Bin Haji Amit (Representative of the Malay community & zapin writer)

• Claudia Geres (Popular local artist)

All are invited to attend and be part of this effort to uplift rural arts heritage and strengthen grassroots arts community networks.
