Balikpapan, East Kalimantan, Indonesia, 25–27 July 2025 – The Sarawak Arts Council (MSS) was honoured to participate in Sarawak Connect in Balikpapan 2025, an initiative organised by the Ministry of International Trade, Industry and Investment Sarawak (MINTRED Sarawak).

With the theme “Welcome to Sarawak Connect in Balikpapan 2025”, the programme highlighted Sarawak’s potential in the education, healthcare, and construction sectors, while strengthening strategic ties between Sarawak and East Kalimantan.

Through this participation, MSS had the opportunity to showcase the uniqueness of Sarawak’s arts and culture to regional visitors, further enhancing cultural exchange and fostering bilateral cooperation.
