Closing Ceremony of the Pahang Heritage Festival 2025

The Closing Ceremony of the Pahang Heritage Festival 2025 was held in vibrant splendour on 7 September 2025 at the Pahang Contemporary Art Museum, Kuantan. The ceremony was graced by the presence of Kebawah Duli Paduka Baginda Sultan Pahang Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah Ibni Al Marhum Sultan Haji Ahmad Shah; Kebawah Duli Paduka Baginda Tengku Ampuan Pahang Tunku Azizah Aminah Maimunah Iskandariah binti Almarhum Sultan Iskandar Al-Haj; Kebawah Duli Paduka Mulia Tengku Mahkota Pahang Tengku Hassanal Ibrahim Alam Shah Ibni Al-Sultan Abdullah Ri’ayatuddin Al-Mustafa Billah Shah; Yang di-Pertua Negeri Sarawak, Tuan Yang Terutama Tun Pehin Sri Dr. Haji Wan Junaidi bin Tuanku Jaafar; as well as Toh Puan Datuk Patinggi Fauziah binti Mohd Sanusi.

Their presence added prestige and grandeur to the official closing of the Pahang Heritage Festival 2025.

The participation of the Sarawak Arts Council (MSS) further enlivened the ceremony with a 30-minute cultural showcase featuring Tarian Asli Sayang Sarawak, Tarian Zapin Sindang, and Zapin Sebat. The performances continued with a Sarawak Malay traditional costume parade by 20 models specially brought in from Kuching. The evening was further brightened by performances from popular Sarawak artists Bob Yusuf and Hazra, before the closing curtain was marked by the Tandak Nopeng dance and bermukun presented by Kumpulan Sri Buana from Bandar Baru Samariang, Kuching.

The entire celebration concluded the Pahang Heritage Festival 2025 on a festive, prestigious, and meaningful note.
