Kuching, 29 October 2025 – The Sarawak Arts Council (MSS) held a Consultation Session on the Proposed Engagement of Cultural Artists/Dancers (Contract for Service), chaired by Mr. Awang Ikman bin Awang Sepian, Acting Chief Executive Officer of MSS.

Also present were Mr. Syahmi and Mr. Mohammad Firdaus from the Recruitment Section, Human Resource Management and Development Unit (UPPSM), Sarawak Premier’s Department.

The session discussed improvements to the contractual appointment process for cultural artists to ensure a more systematic, transparent, and well-aligned implementation in accordance with MSS’s current needs.
